What Causes Spotting And Burning Pain In Abdomen?

I have been spotting since last Friday and it is switching between old blood and new blood and I have a slight burning pain in my abdominal area but it s not frequent (the pain) but the blood is not enough to be my cycle and it doesn t start for another week and a half.
