What Causes Spotting And Missed Period Despite A Negative UPT?

Hi, my period was 6 days late. But I spotted 2-3 days, which is not normal for me (period wise). I ve had all the symptoms of pregnancy, but have taken multiple tests, all coming back negative. Yesterday morning I took a test again this time there was a faint line! What does this mean?
