What Causes Spotting And Nipple Soreness Despite Having Safe Sex?

I started my birth control and I took it for three days. The reason I stopped was because when I got to my vacation destination I realized I forgot it at home. I did have sexual intercourse during vacation. We used protection and I know that is not 100% effective. Now it is a week later from when I had to stop my birth control and I am spotting and my nipples are sensitive to touch. Could it be from the birth control or am I pregnant?

You have not cleared that which kind of birth control you was taking, also the kind of protection taken during vacation. So it is hard to say...but...I dont think that you are pregnant.....but you can do urine hcg kit checkup for sure diagnosis. The symptoms you are describing may be caused by hormonal imbalance which may be due to abrupt withdrawal of birth control measure. So for proper advice you should consult a gynecologist nearby.
