What Causes Spotting And Occasional BV After Fitting Copper Coil?
I am 32 years old, I have three children and my youngest is 6 years. Around 6 weeks after I had my youngest child I had the copper coil fitted (10 yr coil). Apart from occasionally getting BV I haven t really had any problems with it, my periods have remained regular and I only noticed slight spotting for around 4 months after having the coil fitted and since then everything has been as regular as clock work up until around 8 weeks ago when I first noticed a blood stained discharge. And I have noticed it several times since. It isn t every day and I don t have any abdominal pain and am otherwise fit and healthy and feel completely normal. Do you think this is to do with the coil? Maybe time to have it removed? Or something more serious?
