Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Spotting And Stomach Cramps Post Child Delivery?
I am 28, and had twins 10 months ago via c section, and my oldest is 5 years old. I haven t had a period in approximately 5 years, and even before then it was very light but I had endometriosis with very painful cramping so my dr has had me on lo loestrin to lessen (eliminate) my period. Just in the past couple months I have had random spotting not consistent with a period but sometimes lasting as long as one with cramping and slight clotting. I have never missed a pill and always take it at the same time. Should I be concerned? When I was 19 I had a biopsy and LEEP done, so anytime I have female problems I worry.
This is due to endometriosis which is already diagnosed in your case, take proper treatment from gynecologist there is also now a days laparoscopic treatment available, as it causes hormones imbalance, menses, cramps etc. A few things can help you include healthy food (amla, aloe vera, basil, fresh fruits, juices, steamed vegetables and meditation). Hope this helps.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
