What Causes Spotting, Cramps And Brown Discharge Instead Of Menstrual Bleeding?

Hi I had paragard IUD in for 6 months now and everything was normal. I had my period every month around the same tim the 18th-20th untill this month I had intercourse the night before the 1st and in the morning then six days went bythe I had spotting so I thought hmm I cant start my period yet I just had it then a couple days later I started to spot and so I was concerned so I checked my string and it was way to short so I made appointment with my OB she checked it and said it was fine but still made appointment for me for an ultrasound but thats not untill two weeks from now so today I ve been cramping and little more spotting and now its brown discharge. Please help

I really appreciate your concern, if you are worried about the pregnancy then chances of this is very less likely still sonography is must, and some time IUD could be the cause of symptoms, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
