Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Okay so I started what I thought was my period a week early. Spotted the first entire week, blood only when i wiped. Then to a light bleeding not much for a whole nother week. I m on day 14 of spotting/bleeding. I took some hpt test and they were positive but I m still bleeding. Should I go to the hospital or wait to see my dr? Not sure if I m pregnant or what s going on.... majorly confused. I have4 healthy boys now and have never experienced anything like this with them...
I understand your concern. Based on your description, it appears that you could have convinced and going in for miscarriage or it might be an ectopic pregnancy. Since urine pregnancy test is positive, kindly get an ultrasound scan of abdomen and consult Gynecologist promptly for further evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further. All the best.
