What Causes Spotting During Pregnancy Post Intercourse?
I am 13 weeks pregnant (will be 14 weeks Sunday). I just went to the bathroom and noticed I m bleeding and there was a tiny clot. I m having no pain at all and it s not a heavy flow, but dark red like my period. Is this a possible miscarriage or is normal after having sex?
Hello dear user! I have gone through your query and understood your concerns! Thank you for sharing them on healthcaremagic. Many women have vaginal bleeding or spotting during the first trimester of pregnancy. This is not always a sign of any complications, in most of the times is normal. Just have a closer view to determine the amount of blood and if there is any tissue in it. If yes, and if you have abdominal cramps you should ask for a gynecologist consultation and go through an abdominal ultrasound. You may have to take supplements of vitamins and progesterone to prevent pregnancy complications. So have a meeting with the doctor if it happens again. I hope this answer was helpful to you! Please kindly rate it as helpful and write a short review about your experience with me! I would appreciate that a lot. Thank you and best regards! DR ERIOL.
