Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello Doctor, I am 7 week 1 day pregnant. I had 2-3 spots of light pink discharge on 4-5 days before. Today I notice brown discharge when wiped. I don t have any abdominal pain. I have regular pregnancy symptoms like leg cramping, sour breast, constipation and gastric etc. I am worried about the discharge. Could you please suggest the cause and please let me know if I have to visit my doctor. Thank you.
I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions. one in five pregnant women will experience some spotting during her first trimester. After that, spotting is less likely to occur — but even if it does, it’s still not necessarily an ominous sign. During pregnancy, your cervix becomes tender and engorged with blood vessels, and any kind of minor bumping (like intercourse or an internal exam) can sometimes irritate the cervix, causing some bleeding. Other like implantation bleeding can occur.
But for your own sake and to clear your doubt it is better to see OBG specialist.
Yet , again I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.
Sincerely,
I find this answer helpful
