What Causes Spotting During The Regular Menstruation?
Hi, im a female 28 yrs old. I have a daughter 2 1/2 yrs old. Until now i had my periods without any problem. The cycle was normal like 28 days to 32 days gap. This month i had it on my 32nd day and it was pink stain which never continued. Initially after the first time i saw it started like brown color stains. Even that was few drops on the napkin. After that it stopped. But still i have red blood - pinkish stain whenever i wipe. And it never had wet my napkins even half. Sometimes i had close to 2 cm wetness in the pad other than that it was nt. I did take up pregnancy test on 38th day and it has come negative. Today im on 6th day ( from when i saw pink stain )and still have that problem whenever i wipe and sometimes on the napkin. Recently (approx 1 and half months ) i started eating uncooked raw rice. Is it because of that i ve got this my periods like this ? Usually i have severe stomach pain and this time i dint have any such pain nor other symptoms. Should i refer a gynec regarding this or can i wait for my next cycle ( i ll quit this habbit if eating uncooked raw rice even or not this is a problem to my periods) ? Kindly suggest me a solution please.
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Your habit of eating raw rice may not be related to this menstrual pattern. From your description of symptoms, it appears as though you are experiencing some hormone imbalance. Home pregnancy tests read well when performed with a fresh early morning sample of urine and if you did not do so, please repeat the test. Else, you can also take the blood test. If pregnancy is excluded, you have to get a proper clinical appraisal of the situation. Local causes like infection, polyps, erosion etc., also should be considered. General infections, stress, sudden weight change, cysts of the ovary and use of certain medications are the other causes. A sonogram of the pelvis, preferably in the trans-vaginal route, is helpful. Hope this helps.
