Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been vaginally bleeding for two months, went and had an exam and they could not tell me anything. Today a significant amount of blood has come out, i feel nauseous and tired. Wondering if i should see an emergency doctor or wait to get an appointment with an ob-gyn
It would be best to see a gynaecologist for thorough assessment but if you are feeling weak and the appointment would be a long time from now, it would be best to see an emergency doctor in the interim.
Blood tests like your complete blood count would need to be done to make sure that it has not dropped significantly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
