I have an appointment with a gynecologist tomorrow, but was simply accessing the WebMD website for more info. Thank you, but I m simply seeking free info at this time till my appointment tomorrow.
Hello dear I understnad your concern Spotting/bleeding in menopause could be due to hormonal imbalance, cervix/endometrium dysplasia/cancer, fibroid/adenomyosis, endometriosis. Consult the authorised gynecologist and undergo detiled history, vaginal examination, reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan, PAP smear/colposcopy, endometrial biopsy to confirm the cause. Progesterone preperation can be use to reduce the bleeding. Other treatment will depend on the test result and specific cause Avoid stress, take healthy diet, maintain proper pelvic hygiene, do regular exercise, drink plenty of water Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
