What Causes Spotting With Positive UPT?

To dear whom it may concern, I was due for my period on Monday.. it didn t come on Tuesday so I took a HPT. The test came back positive so I took another just to confirm and it was also positive. Then on Wednesday I had some light spotting when I would wipe in the morning so I took another HPT it was still positive however it was lighter than Tuesday s test. Then tis morning (thursday morning) I had the light spotting again in the morning when I wiped and so I did another test it was still positive but lighter again. I also feel sick in the mornings which I know is normal whilst pregnant. I have also been pregnant before with twins but lost them at 9 weeks. My questions are: 1- Are pregnancy tests meant to get darker daily? 2- Is morning spotting an issue? 3- Should I be feeling this tired? 4- Could this be a chemical pregnancy? 5- Should I still get a blood test to confirm? 6- If this is my second miscarriage is there a test which can be performed to test why I can t carry and ways so that I can? Thank you, A.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Your test is positive whether light or dark. This means you are pregnant, and without having to address each one of your concerns individually I can sum it up by saying that there could be a hormonal issue here. Due to which you may have miscarried in the past, I would kindly request you to visit a doctor and get elaborately evaluated. In most cases, pregnancy supporting medication is prescribed and pregnancy is safely monitored to have a safe and uneventful pregnancy and delivery.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
