What Causes Stabbing Lower Abdominal Pain Along With Kidney Stones?

I have severe pain on my left front side on the lower part and it s constant. I couldn t get out of bed yesterday and I went to my urologist today and he ordered an x-ray and I do have a 3mm kidney stone stuck in the scar tissue of my kidney and he says it s not the problem but I do have a different pain this time and it s a stabbing pain that is constant, he ordered the x-ray and I had it done today and I am suppose to get the results tomorrow and he keeps saying go see my family doctor. Do you have any suggestions because I can t take the pain much longer and I did ask him if I should go to the emergency room and he said no.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that kidney stone might have caused this problem as stone might have migrated from kidney and might entered in ureter or stacked in bladder-urethral junction which is some what narrow.
Take antispasmodic medicine like meftal spas or cyclopam or Diclophenac medicine.
Take plenty of water as it still push stone forward and coming out.
Ok and take care.
