What Causes Stabbing Pain In The Intestine And Legs After Receiving The IVIG For Capillary Leak Syndrome?

My 10 yr old grandson is receiving IVIG for thr treatment of capillary leak syndrome. He has stabbing pains in his intestines and pain in his legs and headaches every time he has this treatment. This can last for 1 to 2 weeks. Do you know why this occurs?
