What Causes Steady Decreases In The Body Temperature While Having Bronchitis?

My 11 year old daughter has a temp of 95.5. She went to the dr yesterday and he diagnosed her with bronchitis, sinusitis, and pharyngitis. She is on a steroid and an antibiotic. Her temp was 97.3 yesterday morning, 96.4 last night, 95.9 about 4 hours ago, and now it s 95.5. Should I be concerned with the constant temp drop?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You can better evaluate body temperature by rectal measurement. I think she is taking any antipyretic drugs causing her to sweat and drop her body temperature. You better control her medications she is taking for bronchitis. If still persist you better visit a neurologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
