What Causes Steady Rise In Weight Despite Regular Intake Of Synthyroid?
How do I re-set my metabolism after years of thyroid problems and finally a complete thyroid removal (due to cancer)? I am 60 y/o female.I am also a type I diabetic. I have a insulin pump and I use Hum. R 500 insulin. My A1-C was 6.9 the first of June 2015. But I am still steadily gaining weight. (currently 5 8 & 361 lbs). I take 250 mcg of Snythroid daily. I do see an Endo and a Diabetic Educator as well as an IM doctor. They all tell me to loose weight and leave it at that.... I also have osteoarthritis in both ankles, knees, & hands. Now it is warmer weather i have access to a pool so I can move! I eat pretty good- I live with two heart patients. Do you have any help for me? Thank you! I am very appreciative of any offered. And yeah! I am an old EMS and ER Tech person. So I know enough to make me good and dangerous!
