What Causes Stiffness And Discomfort In The LLQ Of The Abdomen?

Hi, I have a tight feeling on my left side lower stomach on the belt line. if I press my hand in there is discomfort and when I get up from a sitting position there is discomfort. I can not feel anything lumps wise. I am carrying a little stomach wait - I am 5 8 weighing about 15 1/2 stone. Can you suggest what the discomfort could be please.

I really appreciate your concern, certain common conditions are there as long as the abdomen pain is concern, first colicky abdomen pain, intestinal pathology like diverticulitis, inflammatory condition of colon, infection, renal colic, all of these needs investigations, one more common condition is functional elements apart from the antispasmodic medicine better to see the physician and get done the clinical examination self examination is useless hope this information helps.
