What Causes Stiffness In Joints And Chest Congestion?
i have stiff joints although in a warm house i m shivering my teeth are chattering, i feel very cold i don t have a cough or congestion on my chest or a runny nose. I have an aggressive form of Coronary Heart Disease having had two triple by pass operations over a period of 25 yeats.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have cough, chest congestion, runny nose and stiffness in joints which is because of lung infection and bronchitis. It could be due to sever sinusitis as well. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles. Take throat lozanges. Take plenty of fluids. You should visit pulmonogist once and get it examined clinically. Go for chest X-ray to rule out condition clinically. You have to get pulmonary functions tests checked. You should take combination of antibiotics, inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid. Avoid cold carbonated beverages. Take steam inhalation as well. Sip on warm water on frequent basis.
