What Causes Stiffness In Neck Despite Taking Advil?

I woke yesterday feeling fine. Later on at work my neck was stiff a d I had to take two Advils. This remedied the stiffness for some time but the stiffness came back so I rubbed down using a Tiger balm, and filling a hot water bottle. Still can t move it freely without the pain.

Welcome at HCM
I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns.
ADVIL do not cause muscle relaxation . It will only relieve pain. You need muscle relaxants for it. Thiocholchicoside would be very good option for stiffed muscle.
meet your physician for proper assessment.
Meanwhile stay calm .
Get well soon.
Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask.
