What Causes Stiffness In The Body Along With Chest Discomfort?

Hi, My Dad is 72 years old and last night while sleeping we heard a strange voice and his body was stiff and eyes were not blinking. there was some white foam coming out of his mouth. After 30 min or so he was up and told that he some uneasiness in his chest . He is fine now

Hi,

It appears that he had a seizure. You should take him to the hospital as these can recur. He may need evaluation with ECG to rule out the cardiac issue, CT scan of the head and may need MRI to look for the cause of seizures. He may need antiepileptics. Also, record in the mobile if such episode recurs.
