What Causes Stiffness In The Left Leg After A Meniscus Tear Surgery?

Okay. I have an unusual situation. About three to four years ago, I had both meniscus repaired about six months apart, FYI. Now on my left leg, up and down, it gets stiff, and I feel like a pulled muscle in my butt, but I don t. Sometimes when I just get up my entire leg, the muscles that is, will feel tender and weakened, but after a while they straighten out. It s a mystery. At first I thought I had a pinched nerve, and maybe I do, not sure. My husband says I limp sometimes...hmmm....

Hi,

It could be due to inflammation. As of now you can use analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopedics and get evaluated. Nothing much to worry and you will improve with physiotherapy.
