General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it can be local cause like epicondylitis or tendon lesion and needs to be reviewed in detail by an orthopedic surgeon. X-ray of elbow as well as if needed CT or MRi may be needed. Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen as well as meloxicam can be continued. Local capcidol gel application may also help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
