What Causes Stinging Pain During Urination And Soreness In Penis?

I was doing foreskin stretches to try and fix my phimosis. Only did it for a few days then noticed i feel a stinging pain when i urinate and when the top of my penis is touched it is a little sore. It has however gotten better after 3 days, no longer sore when touched and stinging when urinating is less. Is it possible that i tore my frenulum?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Phimosis needs to treated surgically. If you try pull the fore skin too hard, the skin can tear and cause bleeding. Stinging sensation during urination is suggestive of urinary tract infection. I suggest you to get urine routine and urine culture and drug sensitivity.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
