Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a stinging pain just above my anus, it feels like a hard spot but it can be very painful. About a month ago I suffered from major anis pain for about a week and the stinging has stayed since then.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe, it is an abscess, or a boil, near the anus. The previous pain may also be related to the same infection, and it has subsided due to the resistance of the body. As the bacteria grow and surpass the resistance now it has recurred, and show as an abscess. It is to be incised and drained, and dressed with a cotton plug into the incised abscess, periodically. I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment . I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ornidazole, serratiopeptidase, diclofenac after incision. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
