Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Stinging Sensation And Tissue Like Discharge During Urination?
So, It stings when I pee like I have a UTI, but there are red...um...Fibers? and small pieces of what I guess is flesh in my urine. I ve been drinking a ton of water, I downed some blueberry juice, and even a little bit of baking soda water since it started and the stinging s gone down a little bit but it hasn t stopped and the red stuff hasn t gone away. It s only been happening since last night, and then it only stung a tiny bit like it normally does for me after sex, but it got worse throughout the day today. What can I do to make it better without having to go get pills to take?
You should get a complete blood count, urine routine examination, ultrasound kidney urinary bladder done at the earliest. It would have been better if you have mentioned your age and sex in the question. After getting the results of these basic investigations further workup should be done. The possible causes can be a complicated urinary tract infection, bladder growths, coagulation or platelet disorders, urinary TB, renal tumors. You can be started on anti spasmodic measures like flavoxate and you should continue the measures for alkalinizing the urine.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
