What Causes Stinging Sensation In The Left Leg?
what are the symptoms of a blood clot? I have a stinging (mild, but noticeable) in middle front of my left leg. The pain comes and goes. It isn t constant. I noticed it during night when up to use bathroom then couldn t sleep well after. I have no other symptoms -- no redness or swelling.

Blood clots occur in people who are immobile for a long time such as post surgical,long term bed ridden patients and people taking certain long term medications.Stinging sensation could be due to any insect bite allergy also.Other associated symptoms such as fever,muscle cramps should be noted and the cause should be treated.
Complete blood count,serum electrolytes,bleeding time,clotting time and prothrombin time should be taken as per physician advice.
