Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For about a month after everything I eat I get a stomach ache that develops after about 45 min to an hour and won t go away for about 2 hours or more. Sometimes they aren t so bad, but sometimes and more often they are severe stomach aches to the point where I can t even move. I ve been eating nothing but gluten free and dairy free foods and that seems to have no harm on my stomach. I am a vegetarian already, but this month I ve been having to go vegan for this whole month because anything nonvegetable or has gluten, dairy, and even fruit will cause me to have a severe stomach ache. I ve tried looking online to see what it could be but the possibilities for what it could be are endless. I ve been taking anti acidic medicine, probiotics, and fiber vitamins and it doesn t seem to help very much.
I had gone through your question I can understand your concern. Your history is suggestive of gastric ulcer. It is a commen condition nowadays because of life style and particular food habits and stress and altered sleep cycle.
You don't need to worry too much. You must take proton pump inhibitors like pantoprazole medication once daily empty stomach for at least a month.
Also avoid spicy foods, pickle, citrus fruits. Avoid late night meals and late to go bed.
If the condition persists you may need endoscopy and Hospital pylori test to be done. For that you need to visit a general physician. Hope my answer will help you. Also write us again if you have any further question.
Regards
Dr Muzaffer
