What Causes Stomach Ache After Taking Postinor 1?
Hello, my girlfriend and I had unprotected sex on 14th of this month (6days) after her period. She took postnor 1 immediately after and now she s complaining of severe stomach pains, I like to know if its a normal effect associated with postnor1 and how long will this pain last for. thanks

Postinor 1 contains steroid which irritates stomach mucosa causing abdominal pain especially if it is taken empty stomach. This is a very common side effect of steroid.
Advice
1. Omeprazole 20 mg empty stomach orally for 7 days
2. Dicyclomine 20 mg every 8 hours per oral if pain is intolerable. Otherwise avoid it
3. Drink 4 – 5 liters of uncontaminated water
4. Avoid alcohol, smoking, spicy food, and non-steroidal pain killer for few days
If your girl friend does not get relief after above measures then contact your doctor.
