What Causes Stomach Ache Along With Chest Pain?

I have been getting cramping stomach pains the past few months as well as sharp chest pains. I spoke to an NP and he suspects acid reflux and to take a zantac daily to see if it helps. I am young and athletic and have never experienced heartburn before so I was surprised when this started happening. But recently I have been feeling a rolling feeling in my stomach. It s not necessarily painful, but very strange feeling and almost jolts me forward with surprise. What could this be?

Hello,

This rolling feeling that you have in your stomach might be related to the suspected gastroesophageal problem that you are treating actually, that is usually accompanied by gas bubbles in the stomach, or it might be bowel movements.

However, you have to continue taking Zantac, if your stomach problems won't improve I suggest you get done a gastric endoscopy and Helicobacter Pylori tests.
