What Causes Stomach Ache Along With Vomiting And Diarrhea?

I have sudden onsets of dull stomach pain, then, I start vomiting, then get diarrhea. These episodes last usually 48 hours or so. Very uncomfortable and puts me down for the 48 hours or so. Any suggestions? I have had a colonoscopy, endoscopy, and abdomen scan in the last six months.

First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it can.be signs of inflammatory bowel syndrome if colonoscopy and endoscopy were normal. However stools analysis and cultures may be done to rule out infective causes. Using antispasmodic like drotavarine or mebeverine may be of help however analgesics like acetaminophen can be used along for pain.Replacement of lost water and electrolytes with oral rehydration salts is also a must. A detailed gastroenterologist review may be sought if problem persists.
