I had my tubes clamped not tied cut or burned back in 1994. But yesterday morning I had severe pain and I thought it was just a cause of bad gas. When I went to the restroom I had a feeling to push and when I did I passed what look like bloody hamburger meat. I thought that was very strange and I have never started my period this way nor has that ever happened during my period. Could I have had a miscarriage? I ask this mainly because I was already 2 weeks late for my period and the month before I only spotted for 2 or 3 days. I thought it was just the beginning of menopause with be 47 years old.
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Clamped tubes can cause failure of sterilization in rare cases and can lead to pregnancy. Passing of fleshy mass after delayed periods can be due to pregnancy or hormonal disturbances in perimenopausal period. I will suggest you to get an urine pregnancy test done to confirm the diagnosis. Hope you found the answer helpful. Regards Dr Deepti Verma OBGYN
