What Causes Stomach Ache And Dizziness While On Metformin?
I started taking Metformin 3 weeks ago and it has made me sick every time I take it. Stomach ache, dizzy, and this week my chest has started hurting badly. This all happens within 30 - 60 minutes after eating and taking the medicine. Is this normal?
Metformin having side effects like dizziness, muscle pain, diarrhea, headache etc...
Mostly these presentation seems to be as side effect of metformin
So discuss this with your treating doctor and according to my opinion temporary it can be stopped and another drug can be started
If after stoppage of drug still pain present then rabeprazole for gastritis can be prescribed and detail evaluation needed with USG, EKG and further work up according to need
Hope your concern solved
