What Causes Stomach Ache And Gurgling During Medication?
I have been taking azithromycin ( 2 rounds), and prednisone and ipratropim spray off and on for 2 months. My stomach is a mess. Lots of gurgling and upset stomach even though I ve been done with the meds for the past 3 weeks. Bowels don t work well, stomach ache every day.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read your history and understood your concerns. Noted that you have problems of gurgling and upset stomach even though you have been done with the medicines for the past 3 weeks. Bowels don't work well, stomach ache every day. This happened after Azithromycin, prednisone and ipratropin. This indicates that you have an intestinal infection and it would be advisable to have tests of blood, stool and ultrasonography to start with and get a course of treatment as needed on clinical evaluation and reports of the tests. Specialist's opinion would be better to be taken if required.
