What Causes Stomach Ache With Red Rashes While Running?
I am a teenage athlete and I have been having an issue with stomach cramps while running. I had a really bad one on my right lower oblique and little red dots appeared where the cramp was. It looks like a rash but it isr not itchy. It fades away after a while. It has bothered from when im running a 5k to when im sitting at a desk doing homework. Its been over a month and the red dots still appear every now and then. Could it be from the cramp over a month ago? and why?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, with the history of stomach cramp or pain and appearing the skin rash or eruption of urticarial rash then it could be due to helminthic infection (Worm infestation ),ideally it has to be clinically confirmed but can be managed on tentative basis and for that single dose of Albendazole can be tried, with antihistamine like levocetirizine, and for abdomen cramp Dicyclomine tablet can be tried, if this is not the worm infestation then it could be autoimmune disorder and it is the self limiting condition, hope this information helps.
