What Causes Stomach Blaoting And Pulsating Pain In The Pelvic Area?

Although I don t have menstrual cycles any longer, I have pain in the abdomen area with pressure and a little bloating, it reminds me of how i felt when I ovulated. Also have pulsating pain in the pelvic area. I went in for a pap and ultrasound and nothing was found but the pain continues.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Pain in the abdominal area associated with pressure and bloating is likely to be gastrointestinal in nature.

I suggest you to consult your gastroenterologist for clinical assessment and an ultrasound abdomen for making a correct diagnosis and thus plan management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
