What Causes Stomach Cramping After Gallbladder Removal?

I had my gallbladder removed. I am under a lot of stress and have been getting severe stomach cramps. Especially after meals. I gave up eating meat 5 days ago and am still having some trouble. Do I have an ulcer or is it a result of not having a gallbladder?

Hi there.

You could be suffering from gastrointestinal infection which causes colicky abdominal pain. Keep well hydrated. You may need antibiotics did which you need to consult your Doctor to get a proper examination and diagnosis with appropriate treatment.

Thanking you.
