What Causes Stomach Cramps After Taking Fluconazole?
My doctor prescribed one dose of Fluconazole 150mg for a yeast infection I am 74. I took the tab yesterday at 1:00 am and started getting stomach cramps about 6 hours later. I was up until midnight with cramps and woke up this morning and still have them. Should I be concerned? I am hoping the cramps will subside soon.

The single dose fluconazole taken on an empty stomach can cause hyperacidity &stomach pain.
A glass of ccold milk or over the counter pill of gelusil (2 of them to be sucked) or ranitidine 1050 mg would solve her problem. If not take her to your family physician for examination&treatment.
