What Causes Stomach Cramps And Changed Bowel Movements After Gallbladder Surgery?
i had gallbladder surgury 13 months ago since i have had leg and sholder cramps with a slight headach i have went back to the doctor 4 times since they have run all kinds of test and said everything was great but i just dont fell like my old self i have a lot of changes in bowel movements and i am on a low fat dite if i eat grease food my stomach rolls and cramps
gi distress can continue after removal of gallbladder unfortunately. some people can identify what foods cause the most issue and avoid them, greasy fatty foods are main culprit , so to avoid is best. You don't mention what issue you are having with bowel movements, but diarrhea is quite common after gallbladder surgery, typically the body adjusts to losing the gallbladder but if diarrhea is your trouble and persistent consider a bile acid sequestrant such as questran to help bind excess bile that now dumps without the gallbladder. I do not have an explanation to shoulder and leg pains related to gallbladder, they may be unrelated.
