What Causes Stomach Cramps And Headaches While On Clindamycin?

On clindamycin for sinus infection. I had pressure in my right eustacian tube and drainage on right side of throat. I just finished the antibiotic and it feels like there s a lump stuck in my throats and still have pressure though decreased in my ear. Is the lump sensation caused by the medicine. I ve also had stomach cramps and headaches while on it.

Hello,

I evaluated your concern in depth. Throat irritation with lump sensation, GI upset in form of stomach cramps are associated side effects of Clindamycin. Pressure in ear with headache is part of sinus infection symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
