What Causes Stomach Cramps And Nausea Despite Having Negative UPT?
Hi Good day, My last period was the 17th of june 2016. I had sex the 18th and the 26th of June. My breast have been very sore for the past 8 days. I took a pregnancy test on the 28th of june2016 it was negative. Please note I ve been getting stomach cramps and nausea . Am I pregnant ?
Because you have not missed a period and you had a negative pregnancy test it is unlikely you are pregnant. Stomach cramps and nausea can be caused by other conditions such as stomach flu for instance.
I would advise you to eat and drink frequent small amounts to keep yourself hydrated but avoid nausea. If you miss a period (your period does not happen on the due date), you will need to repeat the urinary pregnancy test.
I hope this is helpful and answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further assistance is needed.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj General and Family Physician
