What Causes Stomach Cramps And Vomiting Along With Seizure?
My fiancee has had stomach cramps for a few months now. We saw his primary, and they said nothing was wrong, to cut out dairy. That seemed to help a little, but the cramps never fully went away. We had a few episodes of him passing out and two seizures so far. Well last night he passed out again, no seizure, but he vomited after that. It smelled and looked like feces. He has since vomited again. I m taking him into the er after i get off work, but should i be really really worried?
Cramps and seizures together occur commonly in hypocalcemia, a condition in which the body has low calcium.
Since in your condition, its seen with vomiting, maybe there is loss of dietary calcium in vomiting with may or may not be an abnormality in the gut.
Thorough scanning evaluation of gut along with blood tests to check for minerals will fetch into the right diagnosis and definitely a good treatment available in all cases.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
