What Causes Stomach Cramps Followed By Vomiting?

Monday night I was suffering from a lot of stomach cramps. These cramps occurred every 3 minutes and after 5 hours I called an ambulance as the pain was too much to handle. B4 calling an ambulance I had vomited a alot and continuously untill it felt like I emptied by stomach. I was sweeting and running a high fever during the vomiting but after that I would feel very cold. All of this was the same symptoms I had suffered 7 years ago from food poison. They medic gave me Panadol, iburfen, Tremidol and nausea tablets. I felt better within 30 minutes of the medication and slept well. 2 days late I am still suffering from stomach cramps when move, when I laugh, although no major like the other night, no vomiting, every time I eat I have a lot of burping

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) is more.
GERD is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause chest pain, stomach bloating, pain, burping, belching etc.
So follow these steps for better symptomatic relief in GERD.
1. Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food.
2. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
3. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
4. Take pantoprazole and levosulperide combination twice daily on empty stomach.
5. Quit smoking and alcohol if you have these habits.
6. Go for walking after meals.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
