What Causes Stomach Discomfort After Knee Replacement Surgery?

I had an ilious after my knee replacement surgery, they said probably from opioids. It s been 4 weeks now and still not feeling normal in my gut. I am passing stools, however I don t seem to have feeling in my intestine as I pass my stool like I used to. I just feel full and try to go. Is it normal to feel numb in my anus area and will normal feeling ever return?
