What Causes Stomach Gas And Constipation In An Infant?

Good morning If there any baby doctor please. Question. My baby is Al most 45 days I am feeding her milk Similac 1.but she is getting stomach gas and motion is not properly like 2 to days after. Kindly advise if I can change milk Similac 1 to any other baby milk like Nan 1. Thanks & regards.

Hi,

Congratulations for being into parenthood. This complaint with children on artificial milk does occur frequently and many new mothers do come to the clinic with such complaint. At first try to keep your child on breast feed as much as possible. You can change the milk to Nan 1 also but do keep changing or altering it with Similac.

1. Else what you can try is apply some asafoetida mixed in water on the abdomen of child, this way the gas will release easily. One more thing you can do is to use Chebulic (ayurvedic-harad) and grind it with water and give 1/4th teaspoon only.
