What Causes Stomach Inflammation, Right After Having Food And Drinking Water?

Recently my stomach has been burning, especially when I eat, the minute food hits my stomach I get a burning sensation, I drink water I get a burning sensation? I was recently ill with the stomach flu, 12 hours of vomiting. Not sure if it is linked to that

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to gastritis. Taking proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole ( Nexium ) for long term like 4 to 6 weeks will be helpful. If there is no improvement then you may need to go for gastroenterologist consultation and fibrogastroduodenoscopy to rule out peptic ulcer.
