What Causes Stomach Pain After Eating And Constipation During Pregnancy?
Im 15 weeks pregnant and for the last few weeks my stomach will hurt so bad after eating. It hurts so bad that i have to sit down because the pain sometimes is un barrable. I am dripping in sweat by the time the pain goes away for a little while. I have had constipation but it seems after i have pooped and then eat food my stomach starts to act up.
Since you have history of constipation, it can trigger gastritis and hence pain in abdomen. You are suggested to stay well hydrated and avoid constipation. Take fiber rich food. Acid reflux and pain abdomen in pregnancy can be avoided by taking food in time. Avoiding spicy and oily food. Take small amount of food multiple times a day to help easy digestion and to help stay comfortable. Avoid addictions if any. Take adequate sleep. Do not do any heavy work. However, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist to rule out any other factor that may be causing the discomfort. Get managed and treated at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
