What Causes Stomach Pain After Eating Food In Children?

My child is turning 6 this month she is starting to say she has bubbles in her throat and when she eats she complains of stomach ache. She only eats toasted bread with butter for breakfast and chicken cutlet for lunch. She drinks about 5 cups of milk a day. She gained only one pound since last year.

Hello,

The most common reason for stomach ache in toddlers is faulty eating habits. I would advise you to switch your child to a more healthy eating schedule. Divide her meals into small intervals. Include a lot of vegetables and fruits in her diet. It is advised to include at least two portions of fruits and vegetables in a day. If she is taking formula milk I would advise you to change it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
