What Causes Stomach Pain After Unprotected Intercourse?

Hi, My husband had an intestine infection, and he believes that he suffers from candida. He has been feeling better since released from the hospital for his intestine infection and since eating a candida friendly diet. After having intercourse with me without a condom he started to feel sick again and his stomach starting hurting. That also happened before he was in the hospital several times when we had intercourse, and only when it was without condoms. What do you think may be causing this?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

A candida infection will cause discomfort around his genitalia and possibly even yours, and not his abdominal region. In my opinion, his stomach (GIT) is still in the recovering stage which is why he is experiencing the same.

I would not worry about it, and would only ask him to rest further. Any abdominal pressure or stress (which is common during sexual intercourse) can result in some amount of discomfort. If this continues after 15 days since discharge, report to his doctor for further evaluation.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
