My 4 year daughter has been having bright green, feathery particle like diarrhea. She s really good at going to the bathroom in a timely fashion, but for the past couple days when she has to go..she has to go right then. She s been complaining about her stomach hurting here and it s been about 3 days now. She won t eat, just wants to drink water. What could this be?
It is a infections. Most probably it is amoebae infection which is common complaint in children. I do a stool test on my patients to confirm the diagnosis and . I treat my patients with metronidazole syrup (or tablet). This medicine is to be given for a week. Also give her plenty of water, ors, good food of her choice , rest.
I hope my reply will benefit you. Please write to hcm for follow up queries. Hit a thank. I wish good health to your daughter. Thank you
